Many find themselves in difficult situations when it comes to reconciling their painful memories with the past, and the idea of forgiving the reasons for these haunted recollections. However, forgiving the past is the only way to move toward what God has intended for our life.

Jami –
Another winning book from Norm Sawyer, this is a collection of wisdom-filled articles set to lead the reader to Christ for every solution. Drowning in Memories begins by reminding us that we need to “thank God for today and stop drowning in memories you cannot change.” When we learn to forgive the past and remember that “Our Heavenly Father is the only one we must satisfy,” we can begin to live in the present. This book made me stop and think about my own longing for the way things used to be, and it helped me to remember that with God, my good times are already here, and still ahead of me. If you’re ready to rethink the way you live your past, present, and future, this book is a good first resource for you. As with all of Norm’s publications, this book cover features another unique art piece, “Looking for Peace,” by his late brother, Kane Sawyer. With each of Norm’s books, it’s like getting 2 pieces of quality art. One to reflect upon with your eyes, and one to read with your soul. Both are equally enjoyable and of good seasoning to your heart.

Encouraging and easy to read!

Drowning in Memories is a great Norm-styled book about healing, the heart of God, and faith through life’s difficulties. A common thread highlighted in this book is the idea of living for an audience of one. The One (God). If your difficulties seem insurmountable, this book is for you.
