Discipline is an acquired skill and must be practiced in all areas of our lives. We become free in our souls when we live a life guided by the Lord's discipline. This book describes the gracious help I received from God to overcome my health battles.
With the Lord's help, I recovered from the effects of a stroke and the need to lose over ninety pounds to regain my health.
I could do what it took to work out regularly, eat real food, and grow in grace through all the life choices I needed to make to live a full life.
Join me by taking the path that leads to life and blessing.

Sir Norm shows his humble heart as a teacher and a leader in Discipline is Freedom. Sharing his stories of struggles and growth, and the lessons learned, is beyond valuable to the reader. Motivation wavers, but discipline is what moves the needle. Norm enlightens all the areas we need to bring attention to in order to strengthen ourselves to glorify the Lord. This was a much-needed and well-timed lesson for me. What a blessing! Thank you, Norm, for sharing these words.

A great book and reminder to have faith in god and be grateful for this life. The type of book you want to pass along to a friend to share the insight. 5 stars across the board. Thanks, Norm!

This book is the best $20 I have ever spent. Norm has an incredible way of putting pen to paper with the anointed word of God. The Holy Spirit has filled his heart, allowing him to share his experiences and speak nothing but the truth. I am very moved by this book, which has had a significant impact on my life. Each day, I see this impact demonstrated through my readings and the implementation of discipline.

This book, Discipline is Freedom, speaks to the biggest struggles in life of holding yourself accountable, taking control, and ultimately living with discipline. It explains how to face these challenges in our lives with a different mindset and ways to tackle what sometimes seems impossible. Norm highlights that we are not alone in these battles but that God is with us, encouraging us, and pointing us in the right direction all the time. Not only does this book inspire its readers but so does Norm himself. Having met Norm first I could tell he was determined, motivated, and disciplined. However, reading this book has shown me he is 10x as hard-working as I could’ve imagined. He is a walking inspiration to everyone and anyone who gets the honour to meet him and to read his books is very lucky. All-in-all definitely read this book if you’re looking for inspiration to challenge your life and tackle those goals you’ve always had! And I can’t wait to see what else Norm has in store for the future.

Norm was one of my favourite bible school instructors many years ago. He taught us how to interact with God’s word and to be confident of the creative inspiration of the Holy Spirit. I have applied these principles throughout my life which have helped my ability to remain disciplined in study. I have greatly enjoyed Norm’s book “Discipline Is Freedom” so I had to purchase multiple copies to share with family and friends. Everyone who studies this book is inspired to make a healthy change. Thanks for who you are Sir Norm!

This book challenged me to make myself accountable in areas of my life where I have been making excuses or giving myself a pass. I realize that if I want change in my life in any area, it not only starts with me, it sustains and maintains with me, and that requires my discipline. Norm literally freed himself from a life chained to poor health and disease by telling himself “no” to the things that were causing him harm. Of course, God had everything to do with it, but we have to get in agreement with Him too, and it’s not easy! Choosing to be disciplined is choosing the hard way, but once we do it, we will be free of the chains that bound us to bad habits, negative thinking, or any host of life-stealing things. Norm’s way of life, because he walks his talk, is why I can take a step into tough territory and know I can do it. I’m already making changes that have resulted in peace in areas of my life that were causing me to trip. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is SERIOUS about cleaning house and getting free.
