Proverbs 22:12 The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and He overthrows the words of the transgressor.
We do not have to worry about anything the transgressor says because his words have no power or value. God will overthrow the words of the enemy with the word of God that lives forever and abides within us. The words of the enemy are often loud, vulgar and threatening but the word of God has power, life, long-suffering and love.
The words of the transgressor are hopeless, uninspiring and devoid of fulfillment while promoting lack. The words of the enemy are lawless and full of subterfuge, always trying to cut down those who know Jesus Christ. It’s a one trick pony designed to leave one wanting.
Jesus specialized in words of power, love and faith. The Lord was and is constantly encouraging us to speak the way God speaks when it comes to the love relationship we have with Him. It truly matters who we believe we are in Christ. We are expected to believe our born again righteousness and speak out by faith and humility who Christ has made us in this life.
There are things that God says about us that we have to come to grips with and start believing is true and genuine. The angels of God, who are our servants, are waiting to hear the word of God come from our hearts so that they may act upon God’s words to bring glory to God and bring the Kingdom of God into our very homes and victory into our lives. Psalm 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
We are a new creation because of the blood of our Savior Jesus. 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. All things have become new and available to us because we have been loved into an eternal relationship with our God and now, we are expected to take on the relationship of sons. Sons who talk like their heavenly Father.
The word of God says we are friends with Christ. John 15:15a Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends. If God says we are His friends, then friends we are. The word of God says we are heirs of God Himself. Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. We should confess our inheritance in Christ and give thanks because it is so.
When are we going to start saying what God says we should say and be in the glorious kingdom of our Lord and Savior? All these blessings will help change our character because of what God has done for us through the acceptable sacrifice Jesus offered for all of us. Wow!! What more can I say but “Wow!!”
When we are being who God says we are in Him, then, we are being truthful and genuine. God says that we are more than conquerors. Would God lie to us? No! Num. 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Confessing what God has asked us to say about ourselves is obedience and brings pleasure to God’s heart. Why not start by confessing our righteousness since God says we are His righteousness through Christ. I think God would like that.
