Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Jesus does not have to practice social-distancing. He is immune to all sickness and He lives in our hearts. Heb. 13:5b For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Could you imagine God putting up a sign like this in heaven? “Closed until further notice, because of the uncertainty of eternal life, we are going to put salvation on pause!” Thank God, He is still in control of the entire universe and what God has promised, He will do. The Lord can be counted on to be the blessings He says He is. The very heavens point to the greatness of God. Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands.
What a let down these signs (Closed Until Further Notice) have become during this time of infection. We find ourselves asking, “When is it going to reopen?” And the lame answer is, “We don’t know, all we do know is, closed until further notice.” I’m so grateful God doesn’t run His kingdom that way. The limitations of man have become so apparently clear to us during these times of hyper anxiety. Putting our trust in man’s ability to run the world is a mug’s game. Jer. 17:5 This is what the LORD says: Cursed is the person who trusts in mankind. He makes human flesh his strength, and his heart turns from the LORD. We are so blessed that nothing can stop the blessings of God from finding us and fulfilling our life’s purpose and call. No war, famine, or viral sickness can stop the blessings of God. Psalm 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. God’s word declares that we can call on Him and He hears us and shows us the way out of the unknown circumstances. Jer. 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
In God, there is none of this “closed until further notice” nonsense. Our Lord knows what He is doing and knows how to deliver His people from the onslaught of the enemy and the uncertain prognostications of the world system. What we have to do, is put our trust in Him and not fear mankind. Prov. 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. God is well able to deliver us from any disaster that is active now and in the future.
Just because the world system has posted these intrusive signs of closure because of the unknown effects of sickness and the fear it causes, does not mean we have to become cowardice in our hearts because of world events. If ever there was a time to put on the whole armour of God to extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy that have been dipped in a virus, it is now. Eph. 6:16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. Now that you have your amour on, you are dressed for prayer. So pray! Eph. 6:18 Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
We who are in Christ, by faith, have God’s ear at all times. If we know that He hears us, then we know our requests are being heard by the Lord All-Mighty. 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. We need to know that we are praying God’s will when we are interceding for the people of this world to be healed. It is the mercies of God that lead people to repentance.
Until further notice, I will keep praying and asking God for His mighty deliverance throughout this earth. Until further notice, I will keep destroying the works of the enemy by praying fully dressed in my God-given armour. The attacks in your life may be real and severe. Those are the facts right now that you may be facing. However, the truth is – Jesus has overcome the world and all the menacing factors in it. Now line up your faith with the Lord’s, and pray the destruction of this viral attack and anything else that hinders life. In Jesus name.

Hi miss Adina
Yes, keep trusting God. What else can we do? Peter had the answer.. John 6:68 Simon Peter answered, “Lord, to whom will we go? You have the words of eternal life.
Thank you for teaching us. I was nudged to get up early this morning to read this. I put my hope and trust in God the Creator, and not the systems, understandings, and decisions of people (the creation). Bless you Sir. Norm (Adina).
