Proverbs 9:11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
Stagnation is never a good place to remain while trying to find the peace of God in our lives. God is life and the Spirit of life lives and moves within our very beings through Christ our Lord. Acts 17:28a For in him we live and move and have our being. We can sometimes get stuck in our everyday lives wondering if anything is ever going to change. If we have a relationship with Jesus, then we can be assured that the best is yet to come.
The Lord said to the children of Israel that it was time to move forward and take the promise land and all the challenges that come with the move led by God. The Lord was saying they had been in one place too long and the vision God gave them could only be fulfilled if they moved forward. What is God saying to you today? Is it time to take that step of faith and possess the blessing that God has stored up for you and your loved ones? Is it time to open your arms wide and get ready for the blessing that you will not have room enough to contain it because the best is yet to come? Have you been stagnate in one place too long?
In essence, the Lord is telling us that we can count on the fact that it is only going to get better. The best is yet to come for our lives. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith and He has a victory story lined up for each one of us. God is going to bring out the best for you and will bring out the best in you because Jesus is the Lord of your life. The mighty God of the universe does not do things in half-measures. He is ready to bless you because the best is yet to come.
Jesus has never looked for a way to cheap out on our salvation or love that He has toward us. The Lord has always been extravagant with His love and desires for us. 2 Cor. 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. The Lord has always extended blessing upon blessing toward us and why would He change now after years of walking with Him. No, saints, God is waiting for us to believe in His goodness and wants us to be ready for the blessing because the best is yet to come. Num. 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
My brothers and sisters, be assured that our God has kept the best for you to this very day and we can all count on the fact that the best is yet to come. So I say, “Amen and amen, Father God. Bring on your lavished love and blessing you have planned for me. I am ready for your windows of heaven to pour out a blessing, because I know the best is yet to come.” John 2:10 And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”
Good word Sirnorm.
