Proverbs 16:13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaks right.
The events I have gone through in the last week or so have been unsettling, but have turned out for the good in my life. Rom. 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Things that were important a few weeks ago are not as important these days. The gravitas of personal purpose has become a paramount conversation with the Lord and I.
The love and well-wishes that were communicated to me in overwhelming abundance this past week has been joyfully received with grace and has become an uplifting salve to my heart that needs natural healing. Thank God for love! Thank God for the body of Christ who set their hearts to pray for me with thanksgiving. Phil. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Ann Landers said, “If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great many things that are missing. If you don’t have love in your life, no matter what else there is, it’s not enough.”
After numerous visits to the different hospital departments and experiencing our modern medical systems, I’ve come to realize that we have a great medical service plan, but a terrible health-care system. No wonder God asks us to visit and pray for the sick. James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
There is no salvation in anyone other than the Lord. Yes, our schooled and experienced physicians can dispense vast amounts of helpful information and prescriptions, but where do we find life when we are sick and in need of holistic healing? I think we find it in the word and love that God has for us and those who God has put in our lives to love us.
The health-care system is fear based and everything is expressed as a worst-case scenario. 2 Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. There does not seem to be any hope coming forth from these gods of medicine except to give out dire warnings of possible death if their prognostications are not heeded to with full submission. Call me old fashioned but health-care is caring for our health and sowing hope for an expected healing, not the eventual learning to live with the disease that has been diagnosed.
Finding a physician who will believe with me, by faith, for the healing of my heart has become a prayer on top of a prayer. I have prayed that I would get a complete healing for my heart and now I have to pray that I would find a Christian doctor to agree with me so that the convalescence suggested would be spirit-led. This concept is so hard to find in the fast and trauma-filled corridors of our hospitals. Psalm 3:2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. 3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
I am trying hard not to paint the entire medical system with this ugly colored brush. However, it has been difficult to get them to stop and hear what I want. I do not want to be dismissed as an idiot child and told to stop asking unreasonable questions as to how I can get healed, rather than learn to live with the said ailment.
So, I am turning to my friends and blog readers to ask you to pray specifically for a total healing repair of my heart so that it is new again. I do not want to learn to live with a blood thinner, I want a new repaired heart Eze. 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Amen, that is what I want.
I want someone in the medical industry to have what the writer of Proverbs says in Prov. 16:13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaks right. I want to hear righteous lips that speak right. Lips that agree with me in prayer for healing and not just advice for existing with a diagnosis from hell. What will I do in the meantime? I will keep working and continue to play racket-ball twice a week, walk in the park, work in the garden and eat real food.
I will tweak areas of my life that can bring more strength to my heart and listen to the Holy Spirit’s leading if there be any spiritual healing that is also needed for my healing. I am going to live and not just exist. Yes, I will take the one blood thinner my doctor and I agreed upon until the full manifestation of my repaired heart. Eph. 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore.
Dear family, friends and blog readers, will you agree with me, by faith, in the healing power of Jesus Christ our Lord to work in me a healing for the irregular heartbeat that sometimes happens in my heart. In Jesus name, Father, I ask for the complete healing of my heart. That is the prayer I would like for my life right now. Matt. 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Blessings and thank you.
Proverbs 31:26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. Who are the ones living their spiritual lives on empty? I've noticed that those who break God's laws regularly tend to fall apart when times go bad. They just seem...
